| On an appallingly rough Invercargill day last week, David Gill (CAA Airworthiness Inspector) arrived on an Air New Zealand flight from Wellington to inspect the GP One and its paperwork. It rained so hard on the iron roof sometimes that we couldn't hear each other talk. At the end, he commented that it was a nice plane. Except for a couple of minor discrepancies, which i have since rectified, he was happy with my paperwork and organisation. Today he emailed me the Microlight Flight Permit and associated documentation. Now the GP One can have its first flight in New Zealand. Yippee!. |
