It was a very relaxed lunch with about 15 people dropping in for a bite and a chat. Six microlights/homebuilt aircraft flew in from around Southland.
Plenty of positive comments about the build quality, panel/control layout, cockpit comfort and streamlining of the GP One. Lots of questions about fuel economy, cruise speeds, etc.
I can now confidently tell people that although designed as a great training aircraft, it can cover long distances effortlessly and operate from small airstrips.
