Construction
Skyleader's LSA simulator is constructed using a Skyleader 600 cockpit with standard dual controls. The cockpit is mounted on 4 computer-controlled fast-acting electric rams. The pilot looks at a 180 degree 'wrap-around' curved projection screen. The all-important flight software coordinates the 3-axis motion of the cabin and the view that the pilot sees to give a very realistic 'flight' experience. |

The HiBIRD C3 simulator qualifies for ab-initio basic as well as advanced flight training. It fulfills JAR-FSTD and FAR standards for Flight Navigation Procedures Training - Level 2 (FNPT II) and Multi-Crew Coordination (MCC). Each cockpit category can be operated with classic analogue instrumentation or with an EFIS 'glass cockpit' system. Additionally GNS 530, FMS and a weather radar are installed and functional.
